Hey folks. Just wanted to pass along some information in regards to this blog. I’ve spent a couple of hours going through the back end and doing quite a bit of maintenance work. This included installing/deleting plugins and re working some of the categories and pages. I’ve reworked the About Me Page to include a photo of myself, changed the explanation of the purpose of this blog and have added a section at the bottom of the page where you can catch my work.
I’ve deleted all of my WordPress related categories and have condensed them into one category called WordPress. That is because I am no longer going to make WordPress the focus of this blog. Instead, I plan on getting back to the way I use to blog. That means posting articles about icon packs I’ve found, writing about things I find interesting or of use to others, and generally just using the site to vent or share personal experiences. So, if you have subscribed solely to my blog just for the WordPress content, you might become disappointed but you could always subscribe to the WordPress category or catch my work at WPCandy.com or Weblogtoolscollection.com
As for WordPress Weekly, all I need to do is spend the time required to completely setup that WordPress installation which should be completed by the end of this week. Then, all WordPress Weekly information will be posted on that blog instead of this one.
Speaking of WordPress Weekly, this weeks episode will feature a one hour interview with Nathan Rice of Nathanrice.net This means we will most likely delve back into the topic of WordPress themeing, theme tips, premium themes, small potatoes theme club business model and other topics related to themeing. I’m looking forward to this interview and if you have any questions you would like me to ask Nathan, please leave them as a comment on this post.
I hope you’ll continue to enjoy the ride.
