For those that can not afford the luxury of owning Adobe Photoshop, I came across a nice video tutorial which explains how to make a web 2.0 styled logo within The Gimp. The tutorial goes into creating a text based logo and then modifying the text so that it looks like a reflection. FDivisions walks you through every step of the way so the chances of you getting lost are pretty slim.

@Mike Yep, I’ve seen it before. I actually get a ton of hits from that image because I named it web20logos.jpg. Seems like a lot of people are using that search term in the Google Image search. http://www.jeffro2pt0.com/images/web20logos.jpg

@papajoneh Actually, I’ve never used the Gimp. I’m stuck on Photoshop 7 :P
