Episode 16 of WordPress Weekly which will be this Friday at 9PM Eastern Standard Time will be open mic. That’s right, you will have the opportunity to call in or participate in the live chat and control the flow of the show. What I’d like though is for you to call in and share your experiences with WordPress, let us know why you use WordPress versus the competition, who do you use as a webhost which powers your WordPress installation, what are some of your favorite plugins that you couldn’t live without, what are your favorite themes, what are some of your favorite sites to get WordPress content from. Of course, not everything is as rosy as it seems, if you have had a problem or are currently experiencing a problem with WordPress, call in and let us know, we might be able to fix it or discuss the problem.
This episode is all about YOU so please, let’s try to get as many people as possible to call into the show and participate or to log into the live chat. If all else fails, I’ll read some of the news from the past week regarding WordPress and I know you wouldn’t want that!
On a somewhat related note, I wanted to give Charles Stricklin of the WordPress Podcast a special thanks for submitting WordPress Weekly to the Itunes directory. It was successfully sent in to Itunes but they will have to review the show and then approve it in order for it to appear in the Podcasting directory. If the show gets approved, it will be interesting to see if the download numbers go up, or if the addition has no affect at all. All I know is that, if you search for WordPress podcasts in iTunes, there really isn’t a lot to choose from.
