WordPress.com Follies

If you happen to notice WordPress.com loading very slowly or perhaps not at all today, you are not alone. Because of issues within the data center housing WordPress.com, they are experiencing some downtime and at other times, just slow loading of the website. I’ve also noticed Akismet loading slowly and then allowing spam messages through that would of normally been caught within the filters. This may or may not be related to the data center issues.

Looks like it’s one of those days for the WordPress crew.
